Verizon hosts Big Concert for Small Business

The after party for Super Bowl LV will be for a good cause. Raising funds to provide resources and support for small businesses. Steadfast in their commitment to supporting small businesses during these uncertain times, Verizon has partnered with LISC to provide support.

What you need to know about the partnership and Verizon:

  • Verizon is making a multi-year commitment to bring one million small businesses forward by 2030 with resources to help them succeed in the digital economy
  • The Verizon Big Concert for Small Business, the ultimate livestreamed Super Bowl LV after-party, will be hosted by Tiffany Haddish and feature performances by Alicia Keys, Brandi Carlile, Brittany Howard, Christina Aguilera, Eric Church, H.E.R., Jazmine Sullivan, Luke Bryan and Miley Cyrus on Sunday, February 7
  • Verizon is committing $10 million to small business support through the nonprofit Local Initiatives Support Corporation (LISC), focusing on business owners in historically underserved communities. Learn more at lisc.org/verizon.
  • Verizon has partnered with select Tampa-area small businesses to equip them with 5G connectivity and tools to accelerate their digital transformation and aid in their recovery

“Small businesses are so important and we need to do whatever we can to keep them alive; our communities can’t recover without them,” says Alicia in a statement.  “I’m excited to be partnering with Verizon and the rest of these amazing artists to not only be able to take the stage and bring that good music and light but to do it for such a meaningful cause.”

The Big Concert for Small Business will also feature stories about small business owners, and the artists will talk about their personal favorite small businesses.  You can tag your favorite small business on Twitter from now until February 7 using the hashtag #BigConcertSmallBiz for a chance to have them spotlighted during the show.
